08.    Fabmuster Wunderkammer

Farbmuster Wunderkammer stands for a “colour sample wonder room” in German. For this project, I explored the idea of a “Wunderkammer” aka a “cabinet of curiosities”, done before by art museums like MoMa. In my niche version, I explored it through a personal swatch book I created with my favorite designers and their use of colour. I made this for personal use, to make my designing process as a designer far easier yet personal to artists I derive my inspiration from. I explored rings as a form of binding to reference back swatch books, but also to make it flexible for me to use/scatter on my desk when designing. I explored a square format to reference back to the digitality of design through square pixels. The book is organised by colour as well as a description of why I enjoy the colour use in a specific design.
